Privacy Policy

NicDrop is made by Elco Dev (Austin Hunter). This policy explains what the app stores and why. The short version: your nicotine log is yours, we don't know who you are, and nothing is sold or used for advertising.
What we store
- Your plan and log. What you told us you use, how many a day, the cost, your reasons, your quit date, and every entry and craving you log. Stored under an anonymous account ID in Google Firebase (Firestore), so it syncs if you reinstall.
- An anonymous ID. The app signs you in anonymously; we never ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Purchases. Subscription status is managed by RevenueCat and Apple. We receive an entitlement status, not payment details.
- Coach conversations. If you use the Pro coach, the messages you type and a summary of your plan are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a reply. They are not used to train models. We keep a per-day message count, not the messages.
- Reminders. Scheduled on your device only. We have no push server.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no ad SDKs, no tracking across apps or sites.
- No selling or sharing of data with data brokers.
- No location, contacts, photos or health-app access.
Service providers
Google Firebase (authentication and database), RevenueCat (purchases), Anthropic (coach replies), Apple (App Store and payments). Each processes data only to provide the service.
Deleting your data
Settings → Start a new plan rebuilds the plan; to delete everything, email hello@elcodev.com from within the app's Contact link with your anonymous ID (shown in Settings) and it is erased within 7 days. Deleting the app removes the local copy immediately.
Children
NicDrop is for adults who use nicotine. It is not directed at children under 17.
Not medical advice
NicDrop is a self-tracking tool. It does not diagnose, treat or replace advice from a clinician.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes and the app links to the new version.
